The Average Male is a production of T.A.M. Media.(Together Achieving More) Formally known as T.F. Media. Based in Houston, Texas it is a small start up publishing company that was founded in 2006, with The Average Male publication sited as its primary publication. We set out to do something different with this publication as in the gay community there are so many labels and subcultures, we wanted The Average male to be something for everyone in the community. More so to bring the community together as over the years we feel the communities are dividing among one another. T.A.M Media needed an edge for this publication to contend with other established publications as well as the internet. Something to set it apart for its reader to continue to come back for more. We think we have achieved that as T.A.M. Media offers something for everyone. Rather you are young or old. The creator of The Average Male didn’t want the publication to be label or depicted toward one gay subculture but more towards bringing the community back together before we had all the labels and subcultures that has to go with it. On February 15, 2007 T.A.M. Media launched the premier issue of THE AVERAGE MALE, which has been well received by the community helping it grow and prosper to become one of the contenders in the publication industry. As we mentioned, T.A.M. Media is a small publication company that is willing to grow and help unite the gay community like Stone Wall did for us. In our publication you will find informative articles on Couples, Health, Traveling, Cooking, and Entertainers just to name a few. Of course there are the models, some of the most wonderful men around you which is where our motto comes from. “Opening Your Eyes To The Wonderful Men Around You.” Men come in all shapes and sizes and although they may not have rippling muscles or the drop dead skinny bodies they are some of the average men this world has to offer.
